Where Innovation Meets Implementation

We help organizations translate ideas into reality by transforming complex or repetitive processes into systems that are clear, efficient, and reliable. Whether it’s turning discoveries into clinical tools or improving day-to-day operations, our focus is on simplifying complexity so teams can spend less time on roadblocks and more time innovating. We listen carefully, understand challenges from multiple perspectives, and design solutions that are practical, resilient, and built for long-term success.

About BridgeField Strategies

  • We measure success by how effectively we simplify work so people can devote their energy to what truly matters.

  • We don’t walk away from challenges. We work every angle until we find the solution.

  • We design systems that are clear, concise, and complete. Easy to follow, hard to break.

  • We make repetitive processes simple, easy to replicate, and error-proof.

Success Stories

  • Challenge: The Molecular Pathology team needed a system to track and manage specimen inventory while capturing data at both the sample and individual levels.

Action: Built and launched a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Result: Delivered a compliance-ready system that improved traceability, efficiency, and data integrity.

  • Challenge: Early-stage clinical research organization required funding to advance translational science.

Action: Supported SBIR grant submissions and federal contracts, including compliance documentation and post-award management.

Result: Helped secure and sustain critical funding, enabling progress on innovative translational research.

  • Challenge: Schools needed a rapid, reliable screening program to safely reopen during the pandemic.

Action: Coordinated test selection, validation, logistics, and stakeholder engagement across county schools.

Result: Successfully launched the first K-12 COVID-19 screening program in Virginia, protecting students and staff while setting a model for statewide programs.

  • Challenge: A $12M NIAID-funded program required on-time, on-budget delivery of complex technical milestones.

Action: Served as lead project manager for the contract, completing the first task order on schedule and within budget.

Result: Delivered critical proof-of-feasibility data supporting the launch of a rapid PCR platform for STI testing, advancing public health and accelerating access to innovative diagnostics.

Meet the Team

Amanda Field, MPH

My work is powered by empathy and grounded in science with one goal in mind: creating solutions that truly make life better for people. Drawing on more than 20 years in clinical research, laboratory science, and public health, I strive to unite compassion and evidence to make a real impact. I’ve worked with teams in settings that range from small clinical labs, academic medical centers, advocacy groups, and large commercial organizations, always focused on translating ideas into solutions that improve people’s work and lives. Along the way, I have led NIH- and SBIR-funded initiatives, managed multi-million-dollar contracts, and supported the design and validation of clinical assays that put science into practice.

My academic background reflects my belief that science and humanity are inseparable. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Anthropology from the University of Delaware and a Master of Public Health with a focus on Global Health from The George Washington University, grounding me in both the hard and social sciences. I’ve since added training in Lean Six Sigma, Biostatistics, and Commercialization, building a toolkit that helps me connect evidence-based practice with the real needs of people, organizations, and communities.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy music, playing piano and flute, and exploring local historic sites with my family. I’m always exploring new ideas and perspectives to stay curious and connected.
